College Ward and me

I’ve lived in College Ward for nearly 10 years and I was born and bred in Hereford. I went to St Pauls, St Mary’s and Hereford Sixth Form College (I’m 52 so that was all quite a while ago).

After that I lived and worked in Birmingham, Shropshire and Wales as well as Hereford.

I represent College Ward on Herefordshire Council and Hereford City Council. I’m a member of Herefordshire LibDems.

My job

I work for Data Orchard CIC helping charities and councils across the UK make better use of data and analytics. It’s a great job and I get to work from home.

Before that I worked largely for local councils in different parts of the country (including Herefordshire) so I think I understand how good and bad councils work.

In my spare time

I’m a dog lover. You might see me walking my dog and, sometimes, my dad’s dog around the ward. With my dog I’m learning to compete in “Hoopers“.

I also write and perform folk songs about Herefordshire history and folklore.
